The eligibility requirements for the Reducing Poverty Initiative are as follows:

• You are 18 or older
• You are unable to work for physical or mental health reasons
• You are currently employed and have a job to return to
• You have been off work for less than one year
• You reside in one of the four pilot communities: Prince George, Nanaimo and region, Kelowna, or Vancouver
• You are not in receipt of insured benefits, including WorkSafe BC, ICBC, or Short- or Long-Term Disability coverage through your employer
